The School Day

Children arrive at school via the Church path entrance.  The gate is opened at 08:45 and the children are greeted by the Academy  Principal and FLO (or another member of staff in her absence).  Children should not be left  earlier than this unless arrangements have been made with the school.  This is to ensure the safety of your child which is paramount. The gate closes at 08:55. 

At the end of the school day the children should be met by parents on the playground.  We ask that parents park either outside of the school gates (but NOT on the zigzag lines) or in the Church car park to ensure the safety of all children walking home. 

Should your child arrive late at school, can you please ensure that you and your child report to the school office so that he/she may be added to the register and their lunch can be ordered.  If you wish to take your child early from school for an appointment, again please report to the office and your child will be sent for.  Please sign your child in and out of the building. 

Parents are reminded that children should be in school for every session unless the child is sick.  Absence for holidays during term time will not be authorised.
