Home Learning - Friday 30th April

Good morning, my wonderful Butterflies Class

Wow! What a strange start to what should have been a normal day at school for us all. Although we can’t be together today, we can make sure we continue our learning and practise those good learning habits. So, with that in mind, I’d like you to do the following learning tasks. You can complete them in any order you like:

Log in to My Maths and complete the tasks set.

Revise your 2, 5 and 10 times tables. Once you have nailed these, practise, practise, practise your 3 and 4 times tables. Don’t forget, you could use TTRockstars to help with this.

Log in to your Epic Reader account. Choose a book and read it out loud to someone in your house. When you have finished the book, write a book review.

You took home this week’s spelling list on Monday. Practice them on the sheet and in any other ways you can think of. Ask someone at home to test you on them. We will be testing these in school on Tuesday next week.

Art/ DT

Design and make a flower for Mary (Mother of Jesus.) You could use materials that you have around the home (such as paper, cereal box card, etc) or things from nature like twigs, leaves etc. You will need to bring this in to school on Monday 10th May for a special school event.

Have a lovely day everyone, and enjoy the long weekend.

See you all on Tuesday,

Mrs Mauldon
