This week we celebrated the ‘Crowning of Mary’ and it was wonderful to see the confidence of pupils in KS1 as they read their prayers in front of the whole school and their parents; the creativity of flower making was also beautiful! It was also so lovely to welcome Fr. Desmond into school to share a wonderful homily.
This week we also send our prayers to the 1st communicants as they take their 1st Communion over the coming weekends at both Holy Family Church and St Peter and St Paul Catholic Church, Headcorn. We would love to see a photo of their special day so please do share this via the office email.
Next week we wish Year 6 the very best as they take their SATS. Have fun this weekend, enjoy the outdoors and relax and return to school on Tuesday ready to do your very best. You are all superstars and we’re very proud of you!
Finally, our second May bank holiday on Monday this week commemorates the Coronation of Charles III on Saturday. The sea of red, white and blue was fantastic to see today and we all loved our class ‘street parties’ despite the weather! Every child should also return home today with a commemorative coronation ‘badge’ as a keepsake; thank you to the PFA for this kind donation.
Have a wonderful weekend! See you on Tuesday,
