Home Learning


Read daily- school reading book- child read to parent/carer.


Read to your child daily and talk about the story/ poem.


Practise writing your first name and surname.


Practise writing and saying all letter sounds and alphabet names.


Count and sort objects and toys around the home/ garden.


Play number games such as Snakes and Ladders or dominoes. Use two dice so you can combine the total of dots.


Gardening- plant seeds and care for your plants.


Make non-cook play dough:


Paint, draw or colour your own rainbow and stick it in your window for the Rainbow trail many children are completing. Look up how real rainbows are made.


Keep a weather chart of our weather and temperature each day.

Learn days of the week and months of the year. 

Use the kidstv123 channel on YouTube- there are many songs that we use in class to aid learning.

Look for signs of spring and new life- take photos and drawings of what you see.


Most importantly keep all your work you have created so we can see it when we get back to school again!
