Our School Day

Our school day begins at 8:55am and finishes at 3:15pm.

Morning Arrival

Children should arrive at school via the Church Path entrance. The gate opens at 8:45am, when children will be welcomed by members of our Senior Leadership Team.

Children should not arrive before 8:45am unless prior arrangements have been made with the school, as there is no supervision available before this time.

The gate closes at 8:55am, when the school day begins.

Late Arrival

If your child arrives after 8:55am, please bring them to the school office. This ensures that they are added to the register and that their lunch can be ordered.

Lunchtime

Lunchtime is from 12:00pm to 1:00pm.

End of the School Day

The school day finishes at 3:15pm.

Children should be collected by their parent/carer from the playground.

Please ensure that the school is informed of any changes to your child's usual collection arrangements.

Early Departure

If your child needs to leave school early for an appointment, please report to the school office to collect them.

Where possible, we kindly ask that appointments are arranged outside of school hours to minimise disruption to your child's learning.

Attendance

Regular attendance is important for children's learning, wellbeing and progress. Children should attend every school session unless they are unwell or there is another authorised reason for absence.

If your child is unable to attend school, please follow the school's usual absence-reporting procedure.

Holidays during term time will not normally be authorised. Parents and carers should avoid arranging holidays during the school term.

School Week

The compulsory school day runs from 8:55am to 3:15pm, Monday to Friday.

This amounts to 31 hours and 40 minutes per week.
