KS2 Outcomes
In 2025–26, 83% of pupils achieved the expected standard in Reading, Writing and Maths combined – 20 percentage points above the provisional national figure of 63%.

Our Key Stage 2 outcomes demonstrate a strong and improving picture of attainment at Holy Family. Over the last four years, the proportion of pupils achieving the expected standard in Reading, Writing and Maths combined has increased from 73% in 2022–23 to 83% in 2025–26.
This improvement is particularly evident in the most recent outcomes. In 2024–25, 76% of Holy Family pupils achieved the expected standard in Reading, Writing and Maths combined, compared with 62% nationally – 14 percentage points above the national figure. In 2025–26, this increased to 83%, compared with the provisional national figure of 63% – 20 percentage points above national attainment.
Outcomes at the higher standard and greater depth also show significant improvement. Combined Reading, Writing and Maths at the higher standard increased from 10% in 2024–25 to 28% in 2025–26. Reading at the higher standard increased from 34% to 48%, Maths from 21% to 52% and GPS from 34% to 69%.
The sustained improvement in overall outcomes, alongside the substantial increase in pupils achieving at greater depth and the higher standard, reflects our continued focus on high-quality teaching, early identification of need, targeted support and high expectations for every pupil.
Disadvantaged Outcomes
At Holy Family, we are committed to ensuring that every pupil has the opportunity to achieve highly, regardless of their background or starting point. We closely monitor the attainment and progress of disadvantaged pupils and use high-quality teaching, targeted support and appropriate challenge to address barriers and narrow differences in attainment.
Our strong outcomes for disadvantaged pupils have received national recognition from the Secretary of State for Education, Bridget Phillipson, who wrote to the school to congratulate our staff and pupils on their achievements. We are extremely proud of this recognition, which reflects our commitment to high expectations, equity and excellent outcomes for all pupils.
