DT: Structures

As our current Geography topic is France, we decided to base our DT structures on the Eiffel Tower. We had to consider how to stablise the design, so it was free-standing, and how we could use a combination of card, cardboard and thin wooden doweling for support. We also added a pulley to allow a 'lift' to move inside the structure.

Science: The components of blood

The children learnt the four main components of blood (plasma, platelets, red and white blood cells) and used sweets to represent their size and discuss their different functions.

RE: How well do we know the Bible?
The children worked in groups, with varied Bibles, to see how many statements they prove true or false.
