Science Day
We did a class experiment along with other schools to discover the most effective way to make a waterproof material. They had to test how waterproof the cloth was after it was covered in either PVA glue, oil, wax or a glue stick. Each group then poured water over the material into a pot to see if “some”, “a little”, “none” or “all” of the water had gone though.
Results:
Most effective - Oil
Least effective - Glue Stick
Planting our flowers
We planted seeds in pots last term and they have been growing over the last few weeks. The children individually planted their own pots and added a name tag so they can check their progress. These were then added to the flower beds in the ‘Pray Garden’.
