In our topic States of Matter we have had great fun exploring the properties of matter. What changes affect the state of a matter.
We mixed vinegar(liquid) and bicarbonate soda (solid) and observed what happened when a gas was formed
We made ice cream by freezing a liquid (we didn’t use a freezer) so it turns into a solid. We added chocolate sauce(liquid) and watched as it changed to a solid. Of course we the ate it !
We investigated condensation and evaporation and the role they play in the water cycle
We could see evaporation in action in the puddles on the playground
