Owls visit in our school

Today we had a visit from some very special friends! We heard lots of great information and learnt some interesting facts, like they don't make a sound when they fly! They fly almost silently.

Also whereas people and other animals can simply move their eyes to follow an object, owls must turn their heads for the same effect. These birds have fixed eye sockets, their eyeballs can't rotate.

We have enjoyed the fascinating visit.

Religious Education

During a recent RE lesson we learnt the importance of sharing. We created same posters encouraging others to share, because it can be helpful to others and is an act of kindness.
