History - The Great Fire of London
We have been learning all about The Great Fire of London. The children made their own 17th century houses and we used these to recreate the event.
Science - Materials
We have been learning all about different materials and their properties. We did an experiment to find the best material to use for making an umbrella.
PE - Static balance

The children carried out an investigation to find out which materials are transparent. We tested wood, paper, metal, plastic and glass.
Art and Design - Textiles
The children designed and made their own prints based on the work of Lucienne Day.
Science - Materials
The children investigated how the shapes of different materials could be changed. We stretched, twisted, bent and squashed a range of materials.
French Christmas Day
The children did a range of activities including learning La Nativite and singing French Christmas carols. Some of the children even tried escargot!
