Year 6 Debate

After studying two Ancient Greek city states, pupils had to join Team Sparta or Team Athens. Led by a team spokesmen, they had to express and argue in favor of which city citizens should opt to live in - they even discussed how this decision may differ based on whether you were a greek male or female. 

Our Art Day with the help of Mr Martin from St. Simon Stock Secondary:

We were extremely lucky to welcome Mr Martin to our class today for an expert masterclass is using perspective in drawing. We are studing the work of John Constable this term and so this opportunity was particularly useful. We already can't wait for his next visit!

Today was not only National World Book Day but also Year 6's first visit to the mobile library visiting from Maidstone Library. The class were thrilled to be able to pick from a huge selection and even requested particular sequel titles for ghe next visit. #readingisking 👑
