Geography and Mapping:

Pupils have used the Atlas' this week to name the four countries of the United Kingdom and the capital cities, name some counties and find major rivers and mountains. They even created a song to help some of their peers remember the 7 continents and the difference between a city, county, country and continent.

Electricity

"Where does electricity come from?" Mrs Harris asked.

The clouds, from water, a machine or factory they replied. It was time to find out...

Test it: pupils were given a range of circuits drawn using scientific symbols and were asked to build them to observe whether the components worked or not. For each circuit, they then had to identify and discuss their findings and suggest explanations for what they saw.

God's Love and Care

We have considered how we could be 'more loving' during this term's Gospel value focus of: Love. To help us with this, we explored a range of scripture to identify how God's love strengthens and guides us and how, as God will never tire of loving us, he consoles us to offer a love that is dependable and true.
