Welcome to Term 2
What a fun packed term we have instore!
We have: our school trip to Kent Life, our first Mini Vinnies event, our class assembly, exciting Science experiments, our muscial showcase, Christmas Fayre, Pantomine, Carol Concert and Christmas dinner. Plus all our normal subjects to also fit in. With all that going on this term is going to fly by.
Kent Life- Anglo-Saxon Day
Our First Mini Vinnies event went ahead this term. During our Mini Vinnies meeting, we came up with ideas to not only help the school but the families within our family. We decided that a school trip fund would benefit all the school and their families the most. Especially as we are very aware about the cost of living at the moment. Even just a few pounds off of each child's school trip cost could make a positive impact for everyone.
We thought a cake sale would be ideal as it is the perfect duo- raising money and yummy cakes! We asked for donations from the whole school and they did not disappoint. For that we thank each and everyone of you. We held our first sale outside after school and the response was overwhelming, we couldn't believe how busy we were. We were so busy we didn't even have time for pictures. However, the next day we held another sale at break time for the remainder of cakes and was pleased to see all of them go and we got a few pictures!
