Our class assembly based on Floodland 🌊
Year 6 had the pleasure of presenting the first class assembly this year yet - and what a roaring success it was! Mrs Harris had suggested they performed something related to their Viking learning but the children spoke - ‘Can we do it on Floodland instead?’
The assembly explored the scientific concern behind a warming planet and rising sea levels. Floodland follows Zoe, one girl surviving in a devastated world, as she leaves sinking Norwich and finds herself stranded on Eels Island, whose rattle-taggle inhabitants are dominated by a strange boy, Dooby.
