World Book Day in school Friday 3rd March
Dear parents
This year, World Book Day is officially on the 2nd March but Holy Family will celebrate on Friday 3rd March with a whole school theme of Kings and Queens - after all reading at Holy Family is King!
WBD costumes could replicate fictional kings and queens, kings and queens from both present and past and could even stretch to include princesses and princes. Wherever possible, try to encourage children to chose a King or Queen from a BOOK.
Please be creative and embrace this year's whole school theme and please encourage children to make elements of their costumes at home. Each class will be awarded 'Best costume' on the day!
